Lunatic Pandora
Overview
Lunatic Pandora is a colossal mobile excavation structure built around the Crystal Pillar recovered from Centra. Its interior combines ancient ruins, Esthar machinery, lifts, tunnels, numbered access points, and areas whose condition may have been altered by Laguna's actions at the excavation site. The party can briefly enter it during a timed pass over Esthar and later assaults it directly from the Ragnarok. The final visit includes numerous high-level monsters and major battles involving Raijin, Fujin, Mobile Type 8, Seifer, and Adel. The location is one of the game's largest story dungeons and directly triggers the transition into time compression.
