Winhill
Overview
Winhill is a rural village surrounded by fields, low hills, and flower-filled countryside. Laguna's dream sequence presents it as a quiet refuge where he protects residents from monsters while recovering from his injuries and developing a life with Raine and Ellone. The modern village is calmer and partially abandoned, with a hotel, shop, manor, residences, and the optional vase-piece investigation. Its slower pace and extensive dialogue make it more valuable for character history than for combat. The surrounding region also participates in the UFO sidequest, while the village itself offers Triple Triad, a Timber Maniacs issue, and several small rewards.
