The Beginner's Forest
Overview
The Beginner's Forest is the simplest Chocobo Forest and serves as the introduction to the ChocoSonar and ChocoZiner whistles. Its puzzle uses a small number of chicobo positions and is designed to teach the distinction between locating hidden birds and calling them down. After the mother chocobo appears, a hidden treasure can be uncovered and the forest becomes permanently solved. The area contains no enemy encounters and is safe to explore at any level. Its main value is instructional, although completing it is also required for the final event at Chocobo Sanctuary.
