Lunar Base
Overview
Lunar Base is an orbital station monitoring Adel's tomb, the moon, and the conditions that can produce a Lunar Cry. Its corridors, medical facilities, control rooms, observation windows, and zero-gravity escape sequence create a distinctly science-fiction environment. The location contains extensive story material concerning Ellone, Rinoa's sorceress powers, and Esthar's containment of Adel. Most of the area is peaceful until the Lunar Cry begins, after which the station is evacuated and ultimately destroyed. Lunar Base is permanently missable after the crisis and cannot be returned to once Squall reaches the Ragnarok.
