Sister Ray / Mako Cannon
Overview
The Sister Ray, also called the Mako Cannon after being moved to Midgar, is mounted above the city and powered by its reactor network. The party climbs through fortified structures, service platforms, and cannon access routes while fighting Shinra's remaining defenses. Proud Clod and Hojo serve as the major battles of the ascent. The location represents Shinra's final attempt to control the crisis through overwhelming technology. It is part of the one-time Midgar raid and cannot be revisited.
