Sector 5 Slums
Overview
The Sector 5 Slums form a residential district centered around Aeris's home, local shops, and winding paths beneath the plate. The area feels less militarized than Sector 7, with gardens, children, small businesses, and residents who know Aeris well. Expect several character-focused scenes involving Elmyra, Marlene, and Aeris's history, along with ordinary shopping and exploration. The district also serves as the route toward Sector 6 and Wall Market. Later returns provide changed dialogue and additional context about the consequences of Shinra's actions.
