Nibelheim

Overview

Present-day Nibelheim appears intact despite Cloud and Tifa remembering its destruction. The rebuilt houses, inn, general store, Shinra Mansion, and unusually guarded residents create an intentionally unsettling atmosphere. Black-cloaked figures wander the town and provide clues connected to Sephiroth's Reunion. Many homes contain items, documents, or scenes that contradict the flashback. Nibelheim remains accessible later and serves as the gateway to both the Shinra Mansion and Mt. Nibel.
