Sector 5 Church
Overview
The Sector 5 Church is a ruined structure beneath a broken section of the plate, yet sunlight reaches its interior and supports Aeris's flower bed. Its quiet, natural atmosphere sharply contrasts with Midgar's machinery and pollution. Cloud meets Aeris properly here, and Reno's arrival introduces the Turks as recurring Shinra operatives. The escape through the rafters combines light platforming with opportunities to protect Aeris from pursuing soldiers. The church can be revisited during portions of the Midgar chapter and remains closely associated with Aeris.
