Ice Ring
Ice RingNullifies Ice-element attacks.
Strategy
Chekhov is dangerous because Stare Down can shut Yuffie down at the worst time. A Ribbon, Jem Ring, or any practical paralysis protection makes the fight far more stable. Absorb adds chip recovery, so do not let the duel become a slow exchange where she loses more turns than she gains. Keep HP high, cure status immediately if protection fails, and use Limits when they appear.

All Creation
All CreationTeaches Yuffie her Level 4 Limit Break.
Strategy
Godo is the real Pagoda finale because he changes faces and mixes damage, healing, and status. Bio2, Demi3, Mini, Sleepel, Cure2, and Trine all demand a balanced setup; Enemy Skill Materia is worthwhile if you still need Trine. Keep Yuffie healed, use Big Guard or Barrier-style support if available, and punish him during recovery windows before Cure2 drags the duel out. Save Limits for the dangerous middle stretch rather than spending them into a face that is about to heal.

Gorki

Level HP MP EXP AP Gil
30 3,000 150 1,500 50 0
Location
Wutai
WutaiYuffie's homeland on the western continent.
Attacks

Demi2Deals stronger Gravity damage equal to a larger fraction of the target's current HP.
, Dive Kick
Dive KickInflicts percentage-based or physical damage on one opponent.
, Regen
RegenGradually restores HP to one target over time during battle.
, Reflect
ReflectReflects most magic spells cast on one target.
, Barrier
BarrierReduces physical damage taken by one target.
Defenses
Immune to Earth and Gravity
Weaknesses
Wind
Steal Item
-
Morph Item
-
Dropped Item
X-Potion
X-PotionRestores HP to maximum.
Strategy
Gorki is the first Pagoda check and should be handled like a solo duel, not a party boss. Reflect and Regen can stretch the battle, so lean on physical attacks, items, and Wind damage rather than bouncing spells into bad timing. Keep Yuffie healed before Dive Kick and do not rush from low HP just because Demi2 is percentage-based. A steady rhythm of attack, heal, and rebuff is safer than trying to overpower him immediately.

Rapps

Level HP MP EXP AP Gil
39 6,000 300 3,200 33 20,000
Location
-
Attacks
Scorpion's Tail
Scorpion's TailInflicts physical damage and may inflict Poison.
, Wing Cut
Wing CutInflicts physical damage on one opponent.
Defenses
-
Weaknesses
-
Steal Item
-
Morph Item
-
Dropped Item
Peace Ring
Peace RingPrevents Berserk, Fury, and Sadness.
Strategy
Rapps is dangerous because it arrives during the Wutai sidequest while your Materia access is compromised. Aero3 can hit hard when you cannot lean on your usual spell setup, so items, Limits, and raw weapon damage matter. Keep Yuffie and the healer protected, use Hi-Potions or X-Potions freely, and do not wait for a perfect setup that the sidequest has deliberately taken away. End the fight before repeated Wing Cuts grind the party down.

Shake

Level HP MP EXP AP Gil
32 4,000 180 2,200 50 0
Location
Wutai
WutaiYuffie's homeland on the western continent.
Attacks
Rage Bomber
Rage BomberInflicts physical damage and may inflict Fury.
Defenses
Immune to Gravity
Weaknesses
-
Steal Item
-
Morph Item
-
Dropped Item
Turbo Ether
Turbo EtherRestores MP to maximum.
Strategy
Shake is a simpler Pagoda opponent, but Rage Bomber can still punish Yuffie if she enters underhealed. Keep her in the back row if your weapon setup allows it, use Haste or defensive items if available, and heal before pushing too aggressively. Gravity will not help, so the fight is mostly weapon damage and Limits. Do not spend rare consumables unless the duel starts badly; controlled healing wins cleanly.

Staniv

Level HP MP EXP AP Gil
36 6,000 240 3,600 50 0
Location
Wutai
WutaiYuffie's homeland on the western continent.
Attacks
Iron Attack
Iron AttackInflicts Earth-elemental physical damage on all opponents.
, Ironball
IronballInflicts physical damage on one opponent.
, War Cry
War CryInflicts Sadness on one opponent.
Defenses
Immune to Gravity
Weaknesses
-
Steal Item
-
Morph Item
-
Dropped Item
Elixir
ElixirRestores HP and MP to maximum.
Strategy
Staniv is a physical endurance duel for Yuffie. Iron Attack and Ironball are straightforward, which means the danger is taking one more hit than expected while trying to conserve items. Barrier, back-row positioning, and steady healing make the fight predictable. Gravity does nothing, so keep the plan simple: maintain HP, attack consistently, and use a Limit to close once he is safely in range.
