A young black mage who is swept into Zidane and Garnet's escape after traveling to Alexandria to see a play. Shy and uncertain at first, Vivi becomes one of the emotional centers of the story as he learns that black mages are artificial beings created for war and wrestles with mortality, identity, and what it means to live a meaningful life.
