 Acquiring Esper Experience
How does my magicite gain experience after defeating an enemy or boss?
After defeating an enemy or boss, your equipped esper gains the total experience collected
from each defeated monster multiplied by the learn rate of the magic spell the character
is currently trying to learn. These multipliers are listed on each corresponding magic on
the esper page. Once your character has learned a magic spell, the esper can be removed and
the spell will be retained as a magic ability.

There are three parts to this boss: two cannons and the main body. Destroy the cannons first and prepare for a new surprise, a magic absorbing "speck." Smash the speck quickly and heal up before Air Force unleashes a powerful attack. Zap that smile off his face with lightning magic.

Wail away at Atma with physical attacks and non-elemental spells. Edgar's Debilitator can also do major damage if used correctly. Equip someone in the party with the Pearl Lance, Dragoon Boots, and the Dragon Horn. Attack when the Debilitator changes Atma's weakness to pearl. Atma unleashes a powerful Ultima spell soon after it starts storing power, so either kill the beast quickly or cast Life 3.

Atma attacks with powerful Quake magic and a status-altering Mind Blast, so equip status protecting relics and Gaia Gears on your party before tangling with him. Petrification protection is essential. Keep your HP high or risk annihilation by his powerful Flare spell. Atma has absolutely no special defense; hit him with everything you've got.

Chadarnook changes forms between a demon and a woman The object is to kill the demon, but leave the woman alone. If you end up killing the woman you'll have to start the whole fight over again as Chadarnook's HP will be restored. Kill the demon quickly with powerful Fire spells and have Edgar attack with the drill or chainsaw. Sabin is immensly useful if you give him the Genji Glove, and equip him with the Fire Knuckle and Dragon Claw to inflict a lot of damage. If you have any Thunder Shields in your inventory, now would be a good time to equip them as this boss uses almost nothing but lightning-elemental attacks.

Hit Chupon constantly with physical attacks and castings of Ice 2 to kill him quickly and effortlessly. It shouldn't take long before Chupon blows the party out of the battle and dies.

The Cranes will catch your party in a pincer attack so be careful. Try and focus all your attacks on one of the cranes first, so that it can't heal the other one, and also charge it up. When a crane is sufficiently charged up, it'll unleash a powerful elemental attack upon the party which you want to avoid at all costs. The crane on the right absorbs lightning attacks, and the one on the left absorbs fire attacks. If you hit one of the cranes with an elemental attack that it absorbs, you'll end up helping them charge up for their powerful elemental attack.

Go after this Dream Stooge first before taking on the other three, because he has the ability to revive the others should you kill him. He also has the potent healing spell Pearl Wind, which Strago can learn if he's in your group. Focus all your attacks on him, and hit him with ice-elemental attacks to kill him quickly. Just hope that he doesn't cast Life 3 on himself before you kill him, otherwise you'll have to keep killing him until he doesn't.

This fight is fairly simple. Just keep hacking away at Dadaluma, and use Celes for healing when necessary. Eventually Dadaluma will keep calling Iron Fists to help him out, you can kill them quickly with Edgar's Flash or Auto Crossbow. When Dadaluma is nearly dead he'll use a flurry of potions in a row followed by a Safe spell to reduce the physical damage he takes. He'll also start throwing weapons at you for heavy damage. Heal constantly, use Edgar's Tools, Sabin's Blitzes, and eventually you'll win.

Equip everyone with Cherub Downs to make this fight ridiculously easy. 100 Gs cancels everyone's float status, but with Cherub Downs equipped, the float status can never be cancelled. Virtually all of the Dirt Dragon's attacks will miss the party, and you can hack away at it safely. It's Horned Tusk attack will likely kill a character, so revive them quickly. You should have no problems with this Dragon.

A tough fight. Doom normally starts by casting N. Cross at the start of the fight, which will attempt to freeze your whole party in its tracks till it wears off. There isn't much you can do to avoid this attack, but everyone should be equipped with Ice Shields just in case to absorb some of Doom's magic. Doom is weak against pearl, so cast that spell repeatedly for huge damage. Keep hacking away at Doom and eventually Doom's aura will start to shake. This gives him the Image status, which will cause your physical attacks to miss for a while, and also the Reflect status. Cast Dispel to get rid of both of these effects from Doom. Doom will now be drastically easier as he'll be casting Forcefield, which Strago can learn, constantly. Use this opportunity to hit Doom with non-elemental attacks constantly, and eventually you'll defeat him. You'll get Cyan's strongest weapon for beating this boss.

Finding Doom Gaze is actually more annoying than fighting him. Fly around the world in the Airship and eventually you'll run into him. It's possible you could be flying around the world for an hour and still not run into him. But in any case when you do run into him, be prepared and equip the party with Thunder Shields, and Safety Bits. The object is to inflict as much damage as you can before Doom Gaze can run away. A party of Terra, Sabin, Shadow, and Umaro is reccomended. Equip Terra with the Gem Box, Morph her into her Esper form, and cast Pearl repeatedly for huge damage. Sabin should constantly use Bum Rush, and Shadow should constantly throw Ninja Stars or any Tack Stars you have available. After Doom Gaze runs away, fly around in the Airship to find him again and keep hacking away until you defeat him. One word of warning; don't use the Vanish-Doom trick on Doom Gaze otherwise you won't get the Bahamut Magicite after beating him.

Check the last digit in the amount of GP you have before you check Daryl's sarcophagus. If your levels are a multiple of the last digit of your GP, fight around until you collect an amount of GP where this isn't the case. Dullahan starts off by casting L? Pearl before you even get a chance to attack. If it hits all your characters, the spell can wipe your party out. Dullahan's fairly simple, just hit him with fire-elemental attacks, having Sabin equipped with a Genji Glove and two Fire Knuckles makes this fight a lot easier. Just heal whenever you have to, and always keep your HP high. A hit from the Morn Star can be fatal to a character if your HP is not full. Dullahan's Cure 2 isn't very worrisome as it is laughably weak.

Being a fire-elemental monster makes it incredibly weak to ice attacks, so equip Strago with an Ice Rod and Locke and Terra with any Blizzard swords you have, and just attack Flame Eater physically. Use an Ice 2 from Terra to take out all the Balloons that Flame Eater calls from using Bomblet easily. This boss isn't much of a threat.
